Add ½ cup raisins and 3 tablespoons cinnamon. Want to make it a peanut butter chocolate chip banana bread? Use peanut butter and mix in an extra ½ cup of chocolate chips.
What you need:
3 mashed bananas
⅓ cup peanut butter or nut butter
¼ to ½ cup applesauce
1½ cups gluten-free flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
What you do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In one bowl, mix bananas, nut butter, and applesauce. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking soda. Slowly add wet ingredients to dry bowl and whisk until mixture is smooth.
- Into a greased nonstick loaf pan, pour batter. Bake for 50 minutes until browned around edges and a butter knife inserted comes out clean.
